FAQ

  • Can't register?
    Ensure your email address is accurate and check your mailbox or spam folder for the activation code. If it's still not found, try registering with an alternative email/Apple ID/Google account/phone number. For further assistance, email support@viewlink.app with your desired registration email, and we'll activate it for you.
  • Can't connect to the WiFi?
    First, ensure the camera is powered on by checking its light. During the connection process, consider the following network settings: Confirm your WiFi is 2.4GHz, and your phone is connected to the same network as the camera. Maintain a distance between the camera and router within 3 feet. Enable GPS or location access on your phone before connecting to WiFi. Check the WiFi password by tapping the eye icon; avoid spaces. For Camera Settings: Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds until you hear "reset is successful". Scan the QR code for connection: If connection issues persist, email us at support@viewlink.pp. Please provide a photo of the label (including SN code) on the camera's bottom and indicate the indicator light status (red/blue; steady or flashing slowly/fast).
  • Does this camera support dual-band routers?
    Yes, our camera is compatible with dual-band WiFi routers that operate on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. However, please note that our camera exclusively functions with the 2.4 GHz WiFi band. To use the camera, you'll need to access your router settings via the webpage and create separate networks for the 2.4 GHz band. We recommend assigning a distinct name to your 2.4 GHz WiFi SSID for easy identification. If you require assistance with these settings, please email us with your router brand information.
  • Can see Alert videos on the ViewLink, but can NOT receive alert notifications on.
    Please check the notification has been enabled on your system: 1. Please check if the Android phone has enabled Google Service. 2. Please access to application settings on your IOS phone and check if the notification is enabled.
  • How can I turn off the motion detection alram?
    To disable motion detection alerts, navigate to Settings in your ViewLink App and turn the "Alerts" off
  • How to customize the motion detection zone for this wifi camera?
    You can adjust the monitoring range freely by navigating to Settings>Motion detection>Detection area and modifying the range by zooming in or out on the grid interface. (the default is full area). If you require further assistance, please contact us at support@viewlink.app.
  • How can share my video stream with my family?
    Setting it up on your viewlink app from your phone by Invite family members through their account name (make sure your family/friends have downloaded the "Viewlink" app and have registered an account), once they accept the invitation, sharing will be established.
  • How to start 30-day free trial?
    After upon registering an account, you can manually activate a 30-day free trial of our cloud service. If you have any uncertainties, please refer to our instructional video for assistance. Have any further queries? feel free to ask.
